WinXP/Vista Web folder software update:


On WinXP/Vista there are several Microsoft updates that need to be applied for WebDAV to work properly. If you have problem to connect to the mbDrive or have problem to transfer files, please apply the following updates from Microsoft:

WiFi Touchpad, WiFiRemote and mbPointer:


WinXP/Vista/Win7 receiver installation:
  • Download and install the iReceiver application.
  • Run the iReceiver.exe before you start up our iPhone/iPod Touch app.
Mac OSX receiver installation:
  • Download and unzip the downloaded ZIP file.
  • Run the iReceiver.app before you start up our iPhone/iPod Touch app.
Error codes:

Code Explanation Causes
60 An attempt to establish a connection timed out. 1. Port is blocked by firewall or anti-virus program.
2. Wrong IP address.
3. The receiver application isn't running.
4. Both PC and iPhone aren't on the same subnet.
61 An attempt to establish connection was rejected. 1.  Port is blocked by firewall or anti-virus program.
2. Connection been shutdown abruptly. (Simply rebooting PC/Mac should solve the problem.)

Exception in firewall:

If you receive code 60 or 61, please make sure that the iReceiver is in firewall's exception list. Here are instructions for different OS:

Get the IP address:

On PC: Right click on the small iReceiver icon (setting on the notification area) and select "Status".

On iPhone/iPod Touch: http://www.coderetard.com/2008/06/12/how-to-find-your-iphones-ip-address/

The IP address on both of PC and iPhone should look like A.B.C.X  and A.B.C.Y (ie. 192.168.1.3 and  192.168.1.4) if the network mask is 255.255.255.0
